IAI Center at the University of Maryland, College Park will be hosting Industrial AI Forum and Industrial AI Center Industry Advisory Board Meeting in The Hotel at The University of Maryland at 7777 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD 20740. The purpose of this meeting is to introduce recent advances and trends in AI research and to kick off the industrial AI Hub and Data Foundry at the University of Maryland. In addition, researchers will present their current industrial AI research in domain modeling, data quality engineering, transfer learning, domain adaption, and stream of X methodology for complex systems.

IMS Center 36th Industry Advisory Board Meeting & Global Workshop on Industrial AI

The IMS Center at the University of Cincinnati successfully held it's first virtual, members-only Industry Advisory Board Meeting and Global Workshop on Industrial AI on March 19, 2021. The Industry Advisory Board Meeting included presentations from Center Director Professor Jay Lee and eight of the Center's researchers on topics ranging from ball screw health monitoring, to deep learning for fault diagnosis and prognosis. The Global Workshop on Industrial AI featured invited speakers from NIST (USA), Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology (India), Siemens (USA), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), Predictronics (USA), Abbott (USA), and Luleå University of Technology (Sweden).

The purpose of this meeting is to present to potential industry members the proposed focus and planned research areas of the proposed Center Industrial Artificial Intelligence. Feedback received from industry at this event is critical for preparation for establishing this new center.
